expecting to have a very white, fluffy snow day, we (boyfriend / webmaster Jordan and I) stayed up super late enjoying an episode of Mad Men. When our alarm sounded, I ran over to the window and drew up the shades as fast as I could to find NOTHING. worst feeling ever. So, now we’re just waiting waiting waiting for the damn snow to fall and in the mean time I decided I was going to write a post about a really good snack.
Now, when I tell you this you aren’t going to believe me. It’s simple. It’s straightforward and it’s totally not classy, but I happened to discover it in the midst of our not having much money for food these days and being forced to eat scraps and snacks for dinner. That sounded gross- we don’t like, go in the trash or anything. well, not usually. SO. the combo is… animal crackers and marinated fresh mozzarella. it is SO GOOD. You can either trade off bites or choose to stack a mozz ball atop your animal cracker of choice. The combo creates fireworks in your mouth and you are left wanting more and more of these irresistible, bit-size, strange treats. bon appetit. oh, and when you pick up your animal crackers- go for the new, puffier kind. whatever that means.
