Not only because my first best friend’s name was Juliette (and then she moved to the Netherlands. boo), and also not because my Jamie and I used to be obsessed with Carla in The Other Sister (look it up), but really, because her music was so freakin awesome.. Juliette Lewis, that is!

Our dear friends from Bananaland, Jordan and I got the chance to see Juliette Lewis and the Licks at the FTC, aka we were less than 5 feet way from Juliette in her leather pants and feather-wild tank. Her moves, her attitude and her jams were fun and awesome.
