I am the happiest, soon to be chubbiest, girl in the world right now… A sweet little cupcake joint just opened down the street from our home. It’s in the Bridgeport Arcade Mall (the first mall in America, HOLLER!), and is of the same company that drives around a cute silver truck in New Haven … aka … the cupcake truck! Genius.

The newly opened cupcake haven is named Toppings, and while their topping selections range from gummy bears and marshmallows, it will soon boast even a crazier variety, including… gasp… bacon bits! (that’s the word on the street, at least) … but hey, a gal can never have enough bacon… and bacon atop a cupcake? SCORE
