Today we were going to take a hike at the dog park in Westport, CT with Mimi— even though she doesn’t know she is a dog, nor does she play with other dogs. So, basically we would hold her the entire time and walk around the dog park admiring all the cute K-9’s. So, things change, rain happens and here we are– this beautiful plan has been destroyed. A true hiker would put on his or her galoshes and poncho and proceed, but I, my friends, am not so passionate about the sport of hike.

Instead, I will wear this outfit, that I do not own, to a make believe adventure that will occur in my office. AKA, I will probably, in my comfy cozy pj’s, make pillows with my new, amazing fabric a la Sisboom– eh hem, check this stuff out– it is to DIE FOR! My top three faves (of today) include Libby, Mary Trellis, and Stephanie. YUM. they are delicious.
