my peeps, my friends, sistas and brothas.. So sorry. it seems as though I haven’t written to you in years (2 days?) Been so super busy with the Sis Boom winter show and Sale, which was UH-Mazing.
Last night Jordy and I hopped on a flight in Westchester and today we’re snuggled on the couch, next to a fire in Colorado with family (Jordan’s brothers and one of their girlfriends, my girl, Rosie Posie) . I’ll have to make a family tree for you some day soon so you know who everyone is.
We went out for an insane breakfast this morning, which was way bigger than my head (a rule in my family– you should never eat anything that is larger than your head), but I did anyways… and then we walked around Pearl Street, admiring all of the cute little shops and things we want, but can’t bring back (not checking our bags), froze our toes off to the point where I almost cried, a lot.. and yes. here we are. and now it’s time to relax… So that’s my status and now let me tell you about some cool things.
Find 1 of the afternoon. the Sephora Color Play Palette II (a $120 value) for um… $24 … awesome, right? Color trends are always changing, different colors suit us during different times of the year, and depending on our mood, our makeup needs vary… why not stock up on something totally varied and affordable. Something that can take you from rocker chic to glam goddess, to natural and simple.
Yokoo, my knitting Goddess gal, makes the coolest pieces ever… Maybe it’s just because I am FREEZING here in snowy CO, but I am totally digging this Brobdingnagian hat.. complete with huge pom pom and all. We wish Yokoo came with the hat. she is super cute and fun.
My last, favorite find of the day is this… because it’s funny and special. It’s the See by Chloé Long Sleeve Shark Tee. I think that by slipping this sweatshirt on, you will automatically feel cool, sharky and unique. No?
