I wanted the Ghost chairs by Kartell (the awesome clear ones below) but everyone said no no no. so i cried a little and then moved on. well, that’s not true. I didn’t move on. First I went to DWR and ..can you believe this.. they let us take 2 chairs home to test them out and see what we thought. I loved them but everyone said no no no. I wanted to juxtapose the rough, rustic goth-ness of our table with some high-end modern pizzaz. After my long lusted for ghost chairs were labeled as “lawn furniture”, “way too expensive” ($410 each), “not solid enough” “blah blah blah”, I threw in the towel and said fine.

Then Lillian August was having a 25% off everything sale yesterday so we noticed these bad boys that we had our eyes on from a while back. The price was right and the time was right so we snatched four of them and called it a day. I like them a lot, but they are a bit more traditional than I would have liked to go. It’s all good.
