It’s getting warm- can’t you just imagine the summer sun beating down? bikininis (eeer maybe not), sun hats, gellies, picnic baskets, boating, huge sunglasses, and late nights on the stoop… Ohhh summer. Please hurry up!

All of this beautiful weather has me brainstorming ideas for dressing up my front stoop and the miniature section of sidewalk between Debra’s and my unit. It’s not much space, but I think we can definitely work some magic with it. Last year, a few potted plants looked sweet, but this year I want something more exciting and inviting. After all, it’s where we spend most of our time from June through September.

I’m not going to draw the line at flowers and a new doormat. We’re going to raise the bar and aim for new light fixtures, new house numbers, seating, window boxes, and perhaps even re-painting our front doors. Before we know it, the time will be here, which is why we’ve got to start the search so early. I don’t wanna waste one day of Summer not having the perfect patioette setup.
