Over the weekend, Jordo and I went to Captain’s Cove, which is an on the water, fried food, ice cream, candy shops, and little boutiques galore kind of place. very cool. It’s only a few minutes away from our house, which is even cooler. Down the boardwalk is a long strip of these teeny tiny little Victorian-like houses, which are actually boutiques, each filled with different curiosities. From jewelry and birdhouses to homemade dog treats and etched glass, there is really something for everybody.

We walked into the first little shop, actually on our way out, and my jaw fell to the floor. It was just packed with the cutest little odds and ends. I almost had a heart attack having to choose between the vintage glassware, bulldog bottle opener, little dishtowels… and then my eyes met this heard. I was sold. After sweet talking Jordo (who happened to be holding the cash on this particular day), this purple cheeked family, and bulldog bottle opener came home with me to live here forever.

I can’t help but to laugh every time I see them sitting on my dining room table. They are so sweet and they now greet you as soon as you walk in the door. I have yet to name them, but I’ll gladly accept suggestions. The dude in the front didn’t come with. so don’t worry about naming him.
