I’ve been enjoying daily, some of Deepak Chopra’s affirmations (on Spotify!) and have come to love a few in particular. I wanted to share this one with all of you.
Today I will renew myself by letting go of all expectations.
Today I will consider the priorities in my life.
Today I will know that Love is the only realty.
That Love is the most important priority.
When this truth takes root in my heart, I will not waste so much time on trivialities.
Today I will stake my life on what is timeless.
Today I will be redeemed through love.
As the Upanishads say, ” it is not for the sake of the beloved that I feel love, but the sake of the self.”
Today I will put my attention on the self, and use this affirmation to crystallize all those that have come before.
I will allow the words to bring me into a state of meditative peace.
I will let the words enter my heart and soothe it with reassurance.
I will remind myself, in my garden the rose opened, but I was too much in a hurry and passed it by, Love remembered me and said, “I will make a rose bloom in your heart.”
Today I will remind myself that my body is the garden of my soul.
