Our swings were wonderful and amazing, but they needed some cushiness to them. Of course, the first thing that came to mind was Sis Boom‘s Prelude in yellow… and it was PERFECT!.

I made a trip to the craft store and found a really long, shaggy fringe trim that was on super sale. I wanted the cushions to have a bohemian, Indian, droopy feel to them. (if that makes any sense).

I used my surger and went right up along the edges, leaving a small space open for stuffing

I took 4 buttons and sewed them smack dab in the center (top and bottom) to create a dimple.. a cushion look. It works for me.
