This is a story about a wonderful friend, a beautiful engagement, an unforgettable wedding, and then, cake pops. Because it’s a lot I’m going to give you installments.
Part I. Sarah
Meet Sarah!!! This little beaut is a dear friend of mine from Anthropologie– the two of us made up the display aspect of the visual team, and we found not only an amazingly perfect working relationship where we inspired each other and worked our tails off, but we also found a rare and special friendship there that will flourish for ever and ever.
Sarah and I spent almost every day together for a year straight. When we weren’t listening to This American Life whilst spinning gold in the art room, we were laughing and reflecting and sharing and inspiring one another… Sarah taught me that it was possible to make just about anything out of cardboard… She taught me how to dye things and build things and hang things. We did everything together and had the most awesome working relationship. We sat atop 12 foot ladders for 2 weeks straight wiring hundreds of bulbs from scratch telling stories and laughing at inside jokes. These are all such special memories. More importantly, Sarah taught me how to use a radial saw. For this I will always love her. Stay tuned for the rest of Sarah’s wedding story + the cake pops diddy!
