Part II. Sarah’s Engagement

Shortly after I met Sarah, she and Matt were engaged… Here’s a pic of Sarah the morning after Matt popped the question over a picnic in a beautiful vast field. way to go, Matt.

A Few months after their engagement, Sarah asked me, in a beautiful note with one of her photographs (of course), if I would like to be a Bridesmaid. I stammered, “HELL YES” but had to officially reply with an image of faux scrabble letters atop a floral pattern spelling out, “I would be honored”. It’s just how we did things.

Sarah was the most wonderful Bride, gently guiding her bridesmaids through the process with a very clear vision, yet very open mind. We each picked out our own dresses and stuck to a wide color palette.

As a Bridesmaid I also wanted to have a special hand in something and help out where I could… so Sarah and I decided that I would add to the dessert table and make a spread of cake pops! We got together and, of course, tested out every type of color and sprinkle and technique. We came up with the perfect combination and so the plan was set!! That’s coming up in a couple posts.
