My dear, darling, wonderful, amazing, talented, funny, super duper friends, Marcella & Luke Aka Marluke, just moved into a seriously awesome row house down the street. This is what they look like whilst being silly….
Complete with charm, coziness, history, a distinctly mid century modern X Terrain X cozy fireplace times 2, & a back porch / garden combo to seriously D-I-E for, it’s plain to see that this charming abode couldn’t cram more coziness or perfection in there if it tried!
1. A sweet little succulent centerpiece cascades over its terra cotta pot amidst a sea of drippy candles, totally setting the scene for a romantic, outdoor BBQ featuring some of the most tasty sliders you’ve ever had.
2. Bent up by some quirky photo importing that happened somewhere inside my usb cable, this (not in real life bent) H Miller clock provides you with current times around the globe….and lights up. So rad.
3. Fire escape that winds its way through drippy tree branches and makes a sweet little stop at each bedroom in the house. Nothing like enjoying a glass of wine under the moonlight whilst swinging your legs off of a personal outdoor staircase.
4. Marcie’s kick-ass Soleil bike in the best colorway ever ever ever! Red + aqua. oh boy. It takes a nice little breather on their outdoor patio under the hanging strands of globe lights that totally set the mood. Nothing does it like a good ole globe light!
5. These 2 letters were scooped up in Brooklyn during one of Marluke’s most recent day trips. They beckon you to glide up the stairs and enter the rest of their home, filled with quirky trinkets and show-stopping flea market finds.
6. A dining area boasting sweet-ass old school oriental rug, mismatched seating, silver antler candle holders, and traditional ketchup & mustard dispensers with little faces. This area conveniently looks out onto Marluke’s urban garden complete with twinkling lights and warm candlelight. OK. I’ll take it, please.
7. Marluke, Jasper & Noah enjoying a little cake that yours truly baked for them. Excited about their new home, each of the boys has their own room with their own special touch.
8. Where 8 special friends enjoyed a scrumptious meal, laughed over wine, cried over spiders (jordan), and toasted to all that’s to come.
9. Marcie’s beautiful ‘moment’ of old radios, vintage plush friends & books galore creatively nestled on the mantle of their living room.
Marcie, Luke, Noah & Jasper I wish you all the best in your new, wonderful home. May it be filled with all things sweet, happy, warm, cozy, tasty, lovely & beautiful. Love you guys!
