confetti system in da hizzouse

We had two design goals for our Christmas Eve party.

One: Create a table that would seat 24 people– a HUGE, family table was a must-have!

Two: create some sort of atmosphere that would transform our space. I wanted our family to walk in and feel like they were in a wonderland! This is where Confetti System comes in to play…

After much excitement and preparation, we had a 6′ x 20′ table, constructed by Jordylicious (think lots of random tables & desks topped off with a custom plywood situation), and Confetti System-inspired swags swooping over the long table. The table was covered with burlap and dripping with candles and mason jars containing snowy, white trees, down the center. I promise to post pics asap (everyone has them, but me! – Mom can you send some over 🙂 )

Our big white angel pine, cut down by yours truly (aka Jordan) at Jones Family Farm, sat fluffily in the corner with tiny twinkling white lights and a few sweet owls hiding among the branches. Silver tinsel and a vintage-like tree topper made it sparkle and shine just the way I wanted it to!

We enjoyed a spectacular meal, cooked with love by our wonderful guests, delectable desserts, and lots of laughs. The best part? Being able to look around and see all of our loved ones (that were able to make it!).

pssst.. I discovered 2 huge secrets to creating the most perfect Confetti System garland!…… tutorial to follow!
