ahhh. I feel like a cloud. not because of drugs or anything but because this freaking water issue that has been haunting us for almost 48 hours has finally been solved. Long story short it was an uncapped pipe behind the sheet rock. See, it’s a super old building so the basement has all sorts of crazy pipes and holes and walls and shit. Well, all that matters is that we found our leaky little pipe and all of the others that were found behind there as well are being patched up with waterproof foam and cement as I type. relief. No more vacuuming every 5 minutes. sigh. Enjoy the photo below in which I captured the very moment of sheer relief and discovery as the sheet rock was taken down and the not so beautiful, yet beautiful because it is a pinpointed & designated water source, pipes were revealed. ahhh. I can sleep tonight. If you are interested in the hour long version of this tale with all of its ups and downs I will be happy to embellish this skeleton version. My fingers are simply too tired from vacuuming water (yes it can happen) to type.
