Well, poor Jordan. He had his eyes set on these gracious Topdeq desk/tables/cabinets we found on Craigslist. They would have made a perfect, sleek home office… So, after actually going to the seller’s location in Norwalk (an office that is relocating, hence selling furniture) with the money and the intent to purchase a whole slew of things, we couldn’t fit a damn thing in the car. Well, we tried to slide one of the tables in and it was just about 10″ too long… We thought we measured properly. Oh and, true story… I was under the desk pulling it into the car while Jordan was pushing it from the outside and I looked up only to discover, in a way too close for comfort location, a family of wiped bugars all over the underside of the desk. So, even though we were frustrated about not being able to fit it in the car, the boogies gave us a good laugh. So, we went back up to the office with desk, boogies and all and said we’d return. So, Jordo borrows his grandparents’ van and tries to contact the sellers. Time passes, phone calls are not returned, and this moring Jordan gets a phone call that the desks were sold yesterday. How rude. So, we might just journey to Ikea this evening and see what the good old place has to offer. I dont think that post made any sense at all. or maybe it did. But, what do you think of this desk. Is it too Ikea or is it mildly cool? For me, not Jord.
