A friend I used to work with had the best skin. 37+, no wrinkles, flawless and glowing. She didn’t seem the type to have the help of a dermatologist, so I asked her what her secret was. Exfoliation. Exfoliation, really?? She explained that she would exfoliate her face daily with a facial loofah sponge in addition to the regular cleansing ritual of washing and moisturizing. Ok, I was sold.

That day I went to my local CVS and bought the necessary tools to follow my friends advice. Although I had some success with the program, adding that 1 extra step to my current routine seemed too much. THE VERDICT

The cleanser is light and refreshing and left my skin looking and feeling clean – no residue to worry about. The exfoliating beads are small so they don’t scratch or irritate however there are enough of them to do the job. I’ve tried other exfoliating creams and cleansers that seemed too timid to work. So, Olay dual action cleanser + pore scrub, you get to keep your spot in the medicine cabinet. I’ll keep all posted on my continued use.
