Dressing Christine was so, so, so fabulous– mostly because her goal was to try new things and step out of her comfort zone. This allowed me to go crazy and design looks with exaggerated and unique qualities. Christine is a laid back comfortable clothing kinda gal. Like me, she loves to wear dresses, maxi dresses in particular. Dresses are just so easy and simple and perfect. My goal was to put Christine in Summer clothing that are just as easy, comfortable, and perfect– yet varied from her other looks. Christine has a beautiful figure that looks glamorous in a long, sexy maxi dress, so I’m not saying she should take the maxi out of her wardrobe, but I want to give her some new ideas. (pssst- Christine, switch up your maxi by mixing in a contrasting tank or tee shirt as an under layer!)

I threw in some flared denim, belled denim, a boyfriend jean, and a few jumpers. The denim looks will take Christine from a bbq on the lake (where she spends a lot of her time) to a night out with the girls. The jumper looks are for all of the time Christine spends on the water, on the boat, and under the sun– I wanted her to have a few water friendly, stylish looks- why shouldn’t a girl feel fabulous at all times? Lastly, Christine was hoping for some structured, formal ensembles that could take her out at night or to an interview, so I included a few sets with cardigans and the popular boyfriend blazer to create a versatile palette. When on, these pieces give an outfit a more structured, put together look. When not included, the outfit is more relaxed and casual.
